Bogang Jun is an associate professor at the department of economics and an adjunct professor at the department of data science, Inha University. She is also director of the Research Center for Small Businesses Ecosystem, funded by the National Research Foundation of Korea. Before joining Inha University, she was a postdoctoral associate at the MIT Media Lab for three years and got her Ph.D. in economics at Seoul National University. Her research spans economic complexity, computational social science, economic geography, and economic development. Using big data on population flow, trade flow, and labor flow, she has examined the development strategies for firms, regions, and countries.
Heon Jin Park

Professor Heonjin Park is currently a professor in the Department of Statistics at Inha University and an adjunct professor in the Department of Data Science. He served as a member of the Korea Meteorological Administration Meteorological and Climate Big Data Forum, a big data expert member of the Government 3.0 Promotion Committee, and a chairman of the Incheon City Data-Based Administrative Committee. In addition, the Inha University Big Data Convergence Course was established to nurture convergence talents equipped with statistical analysis skills. Professor Heonjin Park obtained a Bachelor of Science from Seoul National University and a PhD in Statistics from Iowa State University.

Donghyeon Yu received a Ph.D. in Statistics from Seoul National University in 2013. He is currently an associate professor at the Department of Statistics at Inha University. His main research topics include statistical inference for high-dimensional data and efficient computational algorithms. He has recently been researching deep learning-based generative models, anomaly detection methodologies, and deep reinforcement learning. He has published his research findings in journals such as the Journal of Computational and Graphical Statistics, Computational Statistics, and Biostatistics. He has also worked on projects related to synthetic data generation and precision matrix estimation.

Bo Yong Park

Dr. Bo-yong is an assistant professor at the Department of Data Science, Inha University, and participating in the Center for Neuroscience Imaging Research, Institute for Basic Science. He received his PhD at Sungkyunkwan University with a major in medical image processing, and worked at McGill University to study multimodal integrative neuroimaging. His research interests cover computational analysis for multimodal integrative neuroimaging using connectomics and machine learning, and the application of image processing techniques to neurodevelopment, obesity, and migraine.
Jaeoh Kim

Professor Jaeoh Kim is an assistant professor of data science at Inha University, specializing in statistical machine learning and its theoretical foundations. He has a particular focus on the fields of defense and military big data analytics, as well as artificial intelligence applications. In addition to his individual research, Professor Kim collaborates with 23 academic and government experts to develop intelligent simulations to combat the threat of megacities. Furthermore, he is part of a research team working on augmented military satellite image data using Generative Adversarial Network and diffusion models, which have significant implications for defense and military applications.

Taesung Hwang is an associate professor in the Asia Pacific School of Logistics and Graduate School of Logistics at Inha University since 2015. He holds a B.S. in Civil, Urban and Geosystem Engineering (Seoul National University), M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering, Transportation Program (University of California, Berkeley), and Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering, Transportation Program (University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign). His primary research interest lies in developing mathematical models to address complex problems in transportation network design, supply chain management, and logistics systems planning in the context of enhancing efficiency and sustainability of passenger and freight transport systems.
Haktae Lee

Professor Hak-Tae Lee is a professor of Aerospace Engineering, Inha University in South Korea. His major field of research is Air Traffic Management. Prof. Lee’s current research topics include data-driven aviation safety, human-in-the-loop simulation of the air traffic system, whole airspace scheduling, and electric propulsion system optimization. Before Inha University, Prof. Lee worked at the Aviation Systems Division, NASA Ames Research Center and conducted various air traffic related research. Prof. Lee received his Ph.D. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University on aerodynamics and aircraft design.

He has conducted numerous studies using non-parametric Bayesian statistics, and is a member of the IASC-ARS board of international academic conferences and an advisory member of the Army Analysis and Evaluation Group.

Prof. Jeong hwan Jeon received the B.S. degree in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Seoul National University, Seoul, South Korea, in 2007, and the S.M. and Ph.D. degrees in aeronautics and astronautics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, MA, USA, in 2009 and 2015, respectively. He is currently an Assistant Professor of electrical engineering with the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST), Ulsan, South Korea. He has been with nuTonomy (Aptiv Company, since 2017) as a Senior/Principal Research Scientist, before joining the UNIST.

Jungwoo Shin is currently an associate professor in the Department of Industrial & Management Systems Engineering at Kyung Hee University and an adjunct professor in the Department of Big Data Analytics and the Graduate School of AI. He conducted market analysis research based on econometric models in various fields, such as transportation, energy, and environment. In particular, his research focuses on deriving efficient strategies and policies under limited budgets. Before joining Kyung Hee University, he was a research fellow at the Korea Environment Institute (KEI) and a visiting researcher at The University of Texas at Austin.

Professor Byung- Duk Song is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the School of Industrial and Management Engineering at Korea University. His research primarily focuses on the optimal design and operations of logistics, production, and supply chain management systems, based on management science methodologies such as mathematical optimization models, heuristics, and simulation. He is particularly interested in proactive research utilizing the latest logistics technologies and is currently investigating the logistics applications of emerging technologies such as flying warehouses and Urban Air Mobility (UAM).
